About the Scandinavian Transport Centre
Køge Municipality established the Scandinavian Transport Centre (STC) on the outskirts of Køge in 2001. STC is located at the junction of three motorways (E20, E47 and E55) – one of Denmark’s busiest hubs.
It is only three kilometres to Køge Harbour, which is also operated by STC. There is also a railway connection direct from STC to the Roskilde-Næstved line, and a connection direct to Copenhagen is coming in a few years, once the Ringsted-Copenhagen line is established via Køge.
STC is on its way to becoming the fastest growing business park in Northern Europe, and its 130 hectares make it the largest combined business park and transport centre on Zealand.
STC consists of a transport centre and a large business park - generally targeting businesses with major transport needs. The area is currently 130 hectares in size, but a 50 hectare extension is already planned.
